Charlotte Padel Club, open since 2022, is the home of padel in Charlotte, North Carolina — two clubs (South Charlotte and Matthews), nine courts, 200+ members, one community, built for players at every level from first-timers to competitive regulars.
What is padel?
Padel is a racquet sport played in doubles on an enclosed court about a third the size of a tennis court. It borrows from both tennis and squash: the ball stays in play off the surrounding walls and fencing, points tend to be shorter and more social, and most people pick up the basics in a single session. It's one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

What does it cost?
Court time and clinics are open to everyone, member or not. Members get better rates, priority booking, and extra perks across four tiers — Club, Plus, Premium, and Signature. Current pricing lives on the Membership page.

Do I need a partner to book a court? No — open play and clinics are organized by skill level so you can show up solo and get matched in.
What do I need to bring? Just athletic shoes for your first Intro Session — paddles and balls are provided. Loaner paddles are available after that.
Is padel hard to learn? Most first-timers are rallying within 20–30 minutes; it's easier to pick up than tennis.
How does the rating system work? Every member gets a Club Rating IQ score powered by Playtomic, starting from an existing Playtomic rating or a quick club assessment and updating with every rated set.
What's the Ladder League? An ongoing box-league and ranked competition built on Club Rating IQ, with regular monthly awards.
Can I host a private event? Yes — both clubs can be booked for private events and corporate events.
